A hand loan (půjčka na ruku)

What is the most advantageous cash loan?

Loans on hand are popular among people who need to borrow money quickly. The process is easy and fast. We can collect the money from a branch, or they will deliver it to our home.

Loans on hand

Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where our car unexpectedly breaks down, or we need to buy a new refrigerator and don’t have the money. Arranging a loan with a bank takes a long time, and we don’t want to bother our relatives either. This is when a loan on hand comes into play. The process is not subject to complicated conditions. This means we get the money easily and quickly, exactly as we need it.

However, we must remember that a quick loan on hand is often paid for with high fees, interest, and harsh procedures in case of missed payments. For some, this can be the beginning of major financial problems, especially for those who are solving their poor financial situation with short-term loans on hand. This loan should only be a one-off, it shouldn’t become a habit. We must always remember that a loan on hand may not be as advantageous as it seems. We will always think carefully before arranging it. It is important to note, however, that there are also companies on the market that are quite safe, trustworthy and correct. We will focus on them in our article.

Advantages of a loan on hand

The advantages include:

  • the process is very quick,
  • we can collect the money on weekends or public holidays,
  • the application is online or by phone,
  • no proof of income is required,
  • we don’t need to have a bank account,
  • people with a record in the register of debtors can also qualify for the loan,
  • we don’t need to state the purpose for which we need the money.

Disadvantages of a loan on hand

A loan on hand also has a significant number of disadvantages:

  • higher fees,
  • high interest rates,
  • very unfavourable conditions in case of missed payments,
  • short repayment period,
  • we can only borrow a small amount,
  • they are only offered by some companies,
  • risk of increasing the debt pit.

If we often find ourselves in a situation where we can’t manage our money and need a loan, it is a consequence of our poor financial literacy.

Non-bank companies

We offer a comparison of several non-bank companies for 2022.

Zaplo.cz

A loan on hand from Zaplo.cz is quick (within 15 minutes of approval) and everything is arranged online from the comfort of our home. The company offers the first loan to new clients completely free of charge. We can get up to 16,000 CZK (about 730 USD) for 30 days completely without interest or fees. We only repay what we borrow. If we decide to take out the loan again, it won’t be as advantageous. Fees and the APRC are quite high and the company is among the more expensive providers (interest can rise to 23%). An advantage is the possibility of extending the repayment period and we can borrow from 1,000 CZK (about 46 USD) to 30,000 CZK (about 1,400 USD).

Provident

We can borrow from 7,000 CZK (about 320 USD) to 170,000 CZK (about 7,800 USD) with interest from 6.9%. We have a wide range of loans to choose from. According to our individual requirements, we set the amount of the loan, the repayment period, the amount of the instalments and the method of payment. It is more advantageous for people who need a higher amount over a longer repayment period. Provident offers a 10+1 option for new clients. If we borrow 10,000 CZK (about 460 USD) with a monthly instalment of 1,000 CZK (about 46 USD) for 11 months, we will repay 1,000 CZK (about 46 USD) extra. Simply put, we always pay one extra instalment.

Kamali

This company is well known to everyone who has experience with loans without registration. Kamali is among the safe and reputable non-bank companies with the lowest fees on the market. If we don’t have enough money to pay an instalment, we can spread it over several instalments and postpone them by a month, for example. For the first loan, we can borrow up to 15,000 CZK (about 690 USD), and if we manage to pay the money back within 14 days, we don’t pay any fees. To arrange a loan, we only need an identity card, a phone and a bank account number. The company is advantageous for new and repeat clients.

CreditPortal

A loan on hand from CreditPortal is easy, quick, and accessible even to people in the register of debtors. They even offer loans to the unemployed and people with an enforcement (exekuce) against them. The entire process is quick and simple. A major disadvantage is the interest rate, which is 40%. The company warns potential clients who know they will not be able to repay not to borrow money at all. CreditPortal offers two types of loans – short-term (Credit 30) and long-term (Credit 365). With the former, we can borrow from 500 CZK (about 23 USD) to 30,000 CZK (about 1,400 USD). Everything must be repaid in one instalment with the possibility of extension. With the latter, we can borrow from 1,000 CZK (about 46 USD) to 60,000 CZK (about 2,800 USD). We decide ourselves whether we want to repay over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

Viva Credit

It is not necessary to state the purpose for which we need the money. We can borrow from 500 CZK (about 23 USD) to 20,000 CZK (about 920 USD), but the first loan can be a maximum of 5,000 CZK (about 230 USD). We set the repayment period ourselves, but it must be between 7 and 35 days. If we get into an unexpected situation, we can apply for an extension. We can also repay the money early, without penalties or charges for early repayment. We do not need to provide income statements when applying, and the company does not check the register of debtors. Viva Credit also provides loans to temporary workers or mothers on maternity benefit (mateřská).

SOS Credit

Like Zaplo.cz, SOS Credit also offers new clients a free first loan. We can borrow up to 8,000 CZK (about 370 USD). If we repay the money within 14 days, we pay nothing extra. The provider offers a loyalty program for existing clients. With timely repayments, we get a 10% discount from the third loan, a 15% discount from the fifth loan, and even a 20% discount from the seventh loan. The company does not lend money to people with an enforcement (exekuce) against them or the unemployed.

We should carefully consider whether we really need the money. We would rather save up for a new refrigerator to avoid disadvantageous loans with high interest rates and fees. We only take out a loan on hand in essential cases after careful consideration.
